| Over the last 22 years Petlon Polymers has been developed into Europe's largest and most technologically advanced nylon fibre recovery plant. From its 12,500 m2 site in Lydney, England, Petlon is able to offer a range of consistent high quality, cost effective, materials based on both post industrial and post consumer waste streams.

Operational excellence combined with Safety Health & Environmental compliance are core values of both Petlon and the John Ward (Holdings) Group. As well as operating formal SHE management systems, Petlon's Environmental management system became ISO14000 registered in 2001. Petlon also won the Gloucestershire Environmental Business Award in 2001. Our quality system is ISO9000 registered and subject to regular audit by our international customers own internal quality assessment systems.
Technology Driven Customer Service
Through extensive in house process and engineering development, coupled with major plant investments over the last 10 years, Petlon is able to convert a wide range of feedstocks into consistent quality prime substitute materials.
Customers have a wide range of material supply options either on a toll or commercial sale basis, including: -
- Regranulated products
- Agglomerated products
- Unfilled & filled compounds
- Fibre washing & decontamination
In addition to the core nylon product range, Petlon also offers a PET product range on a similar basis. A full range of packaging and loading options exist for the product range.
Consistent Quality
Ensuring a consistent quality finished product is a constant challenge in the polymer recovery industry. Using the latest bar coding, stock control and manufacturing control systems, Petlon is able to provide full 'traceability' of all input raw materials through to individual finished product batches. Through these systems, customers are provided with a consistent, high quality product to meet their needs irrespective of input feedstock.
